Definitely better than hay fever is the new single “Proof” by Moritz Krämer, which was released on July 9th. including a wonderful video appeared. The single is the first harbinger of the album “Die Sadigen Hummer”, which will be released in early October. That us Moritz Krämer no longer has to prove anything, is of course out of the question, but the single is once again a prime example of why he is one of the great songwriters in German indie.
“Prove” is a pop song far removed from the pattern, which creates a cozy, warm atmosphere in the usual cozy shopkeeper manner. At first only accompanied by a guitar and careful percussions, the piece climbs up to strings and piano without appearing overloaded.
“The sad Hummer” becomes Krämer's third solo record and, if you take “Proof” as a model, the sound goes back to “We can't do anything for it”. More appetizers for the new record may be available soon at upcoming live performances:
